About

Dr. Taeyoon Son is a research assistant professor in our lab. His primarily interest is in the development of human and animal OCT/OCTA systems. He is currently developing the technology for oximetry based artery-vein classification in humans. Dr. Son is also leading the project for a portable wide-field fundus camera for examination of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP). With a strong background in progamming languages such as MATLAB, C , and LabVIEW he developed graphical user interfaces (GUI's) for clinical implementation.
